Description
A leading investment bank in Glasgow is looking for a high calibre graduate to join their operations regulatory control team on an initial temporary basis. This team is responsible for Client Money (CASS), Client Money and Asset Return (CMAR) and Transaction Reporting to external regulators across a diverse range of business segments and all Financial Services Authority (FSA) jurisdictions.
This role available is in the CMAR Reporting Team where you will be part of a 2 person team completing the monthly CMAR submissions to the FCA for a number of business entities. The team has responsibility to ensure that the monthly CMAR return for each entity is complete and accurate; producing robust analytical review and commentary for senior management sign-off.
This role would suit recent graduates in mathematics, law, risk or economics. You should be able to demonstrate the following skills:
- Meticulous record keeping
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of the financial services regulatory industry
- Demonstratable ownership skills
- Leadership initiative
This is an initial 6 month temporary role which has the potential to go permanent if you perform in the position.
