Oracle DBA - Web Operations Engineer - Oracle - TKPROK - DevOps - SQL Server - Wintel - Biztalk
Our well known Digital media provider requires a Web Operations Devops Engineer. The Web Operations team provide operational support and management of technology applications and services hosted internally and externally for the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring application system releases are managed to agreed change and release management procedures and working with relevant technology teams to ensure a well-managed and structured release process
- Administration, maintenance and configuration of application hosting environments based on varying technology stacks including Wintel, SQL Server, LAMP, Java, Oracle
- Troubleshooting, performance tuning, optimisation and installation of BizTalk and database application services
Required Skills
- A Proven Oracle DBA with development (DevOps) with good exposure to PL/SQL, MySQL, Oracle, BizTalk, Microsoft (Windows Server, IIS, SharePoint) and LAMP
- Executing plans and trace outputs using TKPROF and experience tracking server bottlenecks through Windows Resource Monitor
- Experienced in working on operational issues and maintenance
- ITIL Framework
- Excellent customer-facing skills
- Professional certification in Microsoft and or Linux based technologies or IT Related degree desirable
