Role: Security Architect

Rate: €400

Location: Dublin City Centre

Type: 3 month contract with view for extension

A large banking institution based in Dublin City Centre is searching for an experienced Security Architect to join their growing team.

The perfect candidate will have a strong background in Security Architecture and a firm grounding with CISSP, Penetration Testing and PCI DSS experience.

Day-to-day

- Design and delivery of secure IT solutions, contributing to the on-going development of the security design practise, interfacing with teams to plan and deliver the security technology road map and contribute to the on-going security of the IT estate.

- You will comply with the design framework and security assurance processes for the delivery of solutions, and will produce designs that comply with the policies and technical standards.

- Work within project teams as the Technical Lead for security design, deployment and service transition.

Requirements/Qualifications

- A working knowledge and understanding of ISO 27001 standards.

- Experienced in the use of ITIL or COBIT.

- Appropriate security qualifications e.g. CISSP and CEH.

- Ability to critically examine security controls.

- Experienced working with project management methodologies, such as PMI or Prince 2.

- Proven security design experience in a large environment.

- Degree qualified in IT Security (or related field)
