Role - MI AnalystContract - 6 Months
Location - Central London
Summary of Role
Support the Analytics Team with the development and ongoing production of regular and ad hoc reports and analysis across a range of processes, systems and products. You will have strong analytical skills and be responsible for all reporting and analysis within the team ensuring the information is accurate, timely and fit for purpose. You will also interact and build relationships with stakeholders to provide appropriate insight based on the analysis undertaken and recommendations to improve reporting processes. The role requires a numerate individual with strong attention to detail.
Main Responsibilities
Responsible for the production and distribution of timely, accurate and fit for purpose management information on a daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc basis and associated analysis for the Analytics Team
Investigate and resolve any data issues arising out of routine MI
Clarify requirements and build new reports as requested
Review, amend and create MI procedures and processes ensuring all are robust, efficient and accurately documented whilst pro-actively seeking to improve these on an ongoing basis
Manage own workload to ensure deadlines are met and critical requests are prioritised
Share knowledge, technical expertise and ideas with colleagues within the Analytics Team and the wider business
Ensure MI is presented in a format to engage the audience and promote decision making and actions
Preparation of packs in a variety of formats for senior executive committees and stakeholders at all levels
Required Skills
The candidate will have strong SQL knowledge as well as having experience using SSRS, SSIS.
Advanced excel skills essential particularly working efficiently with large data sets
Strong analytical skills - proven ability in role dealing with large amounts of data and producing meaningful MI
Strong relationship management skills
Excellent written communication - business and project reports and powerpoint presentations
Good communication skills - ability to communicate effectively with anyone in any environment, e.g. able to translate complex / technical issues to meet the audience's competency level
Good team working skills
Proven analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to manage own work load and work effectively under pressure
