My client, a leader in its field, is looking to boost its team of Service Delivery Managers. The focus for this role is based on outcomes for both the Supplier and the user, so you will be involved in:

  • Managing all major external service providers and ensuring internal and external adherence to, and execution of, Service Management processes used in IT Shared Services.
  • Acting as a single point of contact for the business in relation to escalations with the Service
  • Monitoring performance and ensuring delivery of the Service against specification
  • Monitor and report on the performance of IT services delivered through metrics and KPIs
  • Manage escalations and issues as required 24hrs per day 7 days per week
  • Designated areas of responsibility may include LANs, WANs, SOEs, Servers, desktops, security, communications and data systems and associated links to applications
  • Manage the 3rd party supplier in the delivery of contracted agreements while also looking to improve processes

You will bring to the role:

  • Previous experience in a SDM capacity
  • Extensive experience in operating, managing and supporting IT infrastructure in a complex environment.
  • Broad knowledge of infrastructure services design and delivery including LANs, WANs, SOEs, Servers, desktops, security, communications and data systems and associated links to applications.
  • Minimum 5 years' Experience managing third parties and complex outsource arrangements.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, along with strong influencing and negotiation skills.
