Infrastructure Engineer: Vblock, VCE, VMWare, EMC, Cisco
My client, a world renowned global organisation based in Prague is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer/Architect with a strong background in infrastructure application architecture including Disaster Recovery plans.The successful candidate will organize and perform the activities associated with installation, deployment and upgrade or repairs to Vblock environment and supporting infrastructure.
Key Performance Indicators:
* Ensure SLA's to the business are met
* Achieve agreed targets in terms of quality, time and cost.
* Ensure operational stability
* Implement strategies to allow ongoing operational upgrades and ever-greening of technical solutions
* Ensure that the system remains qualified and that all new processes go through a proper vetting as determined by quality management.
* Adhere to VCE (VMWare/Cisco/EMC) best practices whenever possible to ensure operational integrity.
* Adhere to Windows and Linux OS best practices whenever possible to ensure operational integrity.
* Train and assist in directing lower technical resources to promote positive resource usage
