Description

Baremetrics is on a mission to make the eye-gouging world of analytics and metrics paletable and understandable to real humans (i.e. entrepreneurs).

Right now we're focused on that by providing zero-setup, one-click SaaS analytics for Stripe.

Where you come in...

Let's cut to the chase...we need you to build out the frontend of all that we're pushing out. We ship fast and we ship frequently.

I won't list out some absurd list of random technologies you need to know. We're professionals here.

You need to have really strong JavaScript skills (extra really good, even) as well as in-depth experience with HTML/CSS (we use SASS for pre-processing) and all the various crossbrowser nightmares that frontend code brings. We use jQuery as a framework at the moment, but if there are other technologies/frameworks better for the job, we're open to that.

Having familiarity/experience with Ruby/Rails gets you probably a solid 18 points.

Freelance to full-time...

This is initially for a freelance/contract position, but would love to hire you full-time in the coming months if it's a good fit. You can work anywhere on the planet, but being in the PST - EST timezone range will get you at least 37 bonus points.

Other ways to level up on our completely useless scale of nothing:

  • Nice: 12 points
  • Funny: 82 points
  • Awesome: 3 points

Send over an email to me (Josh) with links to your code and what about working on Baremetrics makes you giddy. Do not include a resume. Seriously. My eyes will bleed. Bleeding eyes = bad first impression.
