Flying Wisdom Studios is looking for an experienced User Interface Artist to help create high quality games for both their external client project and internal IP projects. Requirements are as follows...
Basic Requirements:
Experience with painterly illustration. You should be able to render icons like treasure chests, helmets and Gold Coins in a realistic or exaggerated manner.A deep understanding of color palettes.An understanding of graphic design. Your portfolio should example your ability to lead the viewer’s eye to the priority areas of the screen, along with a general emphasis on legibility and functionality.You should have an understanding of the current trends in UI, both from a visual and functional standpoint.
Desired Qualifications:
A general interest in video games and an understanding of the casual and core markets.Experience with 3d modeling packages such as 3d studio max or Maya.Basic experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal.
