QA Scientist II - 6 Month Contract - Medical Device - ILMy client a leading Medical Device company has a fantastic opportunity in the greater Chicago area. They are looking for a QA Scientist II to manage key Supplier Quality information. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in Supplier Quality within the Medical Device Industry.
The QA Scientist II will have the following responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing supplier change notifications and materials specification release to suppliers
- Maintain the quality of manufactured products and processes in accordance with SOP's and GMP
- Maintain effectiveness of Quality System
- Interact cross functionally with different levels of the organization in regards to supplier records (Supplier non-conformance, supplier change notifications, material specifications)
- Communicate with external suppliers regarding supplier quality matters
The QA Scientist II must meet the following requirements:
- BS Degree in Engineering or Science related field
- Experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry
- Strong communication skills
- Strong experience with Microsoft computer software (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
