IT Project Manager - Telco Networks/VPN Connectivity (S20) $800- $900 per day
Our client is major Financial Services & Banking organisation and currently there is an opportunity for an experienced IT Project Manager to join their team. In this role you will be responsible for managing projects within the Telecommunications space and will need to have in-depth knowledge of Data Networks, VPN Tunnels, Carriage Connectivity and ideally payments platforms experience.
To be successful you will be self-driven pro-active individual who can deal with the corporate Matrix type environment and ambiguity (must be a self-starter), understanding and proven use of PM Methodology, Transition & Transformation experience will be viewed favourably especially any international Telco service transitions between vendors.
Essential Skills:
- Min 5 years Senior Project Management experience essential and managed project budgets up to $2m.
- Telco/Technical background is a distinct advantage as is Networks/Voice/Data experience.
- Experience managing project teams and vendors (onshore & offshore).
- Customer facing experience in a Banking environment preferred, including stakeholder management & reporting.
- COIN & 3rd Party link implementations - Banking industry ideal
Payment industry type projects experience ideal - PMP/Prince II certification
