Employee Relations Manager - 2 months (Sickness cover) - Warwick - Negotiable Daily Rate

A leading Energy and utilities client of Hyphen is looking for an Employee Relations Manager for 2 Months, to cover the sickness of a collegue.

Key skills/experience

Substantial (at least 5 years) Human Resources experience, specifically within a unionised collective bargaining environment; dealing with Trade Union officials and representatives;
Facilitating and participating in joint negotiating and consultation forums.
Development and review of HR policies, procedures and agreements
Self motivated and proactive - drives for performance with demonstrable results; operates with respect and integrity; develops positive working relationships and works collaboratively with customers and colleagues; empathy for the audience.
Written and verbal communications, including reports, position papers, policy documents, employee bulletins and communications; analytical approach to problem solving with solid reasoning; proficient use of technology, including software to aid analysis and presentation (word, excel, outlook, Powerpoint, etc).
Influencing and negotiation skills.
Understanding of collective bargaining frameworks; appreciation of trade union general purpose, principles and values and the role they play within organisations; employment legislation, particularly around negotiation and consultation requirements
CIPD qualified
