About the client

Our client requires an IT Service Desk support person for short term contract - 4 days a week. You must be able to start in a short notice.

Your role

  • You will manage first level telephone for all IT issues and queries from internal customers
  • You will be adhering to set service level agreements defined for the helpdesk team which covers the IT incidents and service requests.
  • You will provide accurate solutions to your customers using appropriate information
  • At certain level, you will assign L2 and L3 faults to field staff and escalate complex incidents to specific teams

Required

  • Experience on Windows operating system (Windows 8)
  • Basic understanding of networking and Active Directory
  • Excellent communication skills and email etiquettes
  • Customer focussed approach and a lot of patience to manage customer queries
  • Good analytical skills to understand the root cause of the problem
