Our client a leading Consultancy is currently seeking the services of a Wintel Engineer on an initial 6 month contract based in Cardiff on a Security Cleared site.
The successful consultant will be accountable for Servers deployment, IP Configuration & Domain Membership.
Required skills:
- Solid experience as a Wintel Engineer
- LLD (low level design) experience as well as Windows 2012 is highly desirable
- Windows 2008, VMware, XenApp and XenDesktop experience (latest generation is highly desirable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with customer, account and delivery teams to address their needs;
- Provide on the job training and technical mentoring for other members of staff;
- Assist Project Managers with customers at project and account level;
- Quality Assure all Wintel project generated documentation.
- Attending Operational Readiness reviews and Service Acceptance Meetings.
- Installing and configures all Wintel services (DC/DNS/DFS) if required.
Candidates must be SC Cleared or must be willing and able to undergo SC Level Security Clearance.
