Our client is looking to hire a Senior Instrumentation Engineer in the La Porte, Texas area. The client is a full-service engineering and procurement company that combines a history of execution excellence with an extensive range of services in the petrochemical and petroleum refining industries. Their services include conceptual and front end consulting, detailed design, turnkey EPC/CM execution, and retrofit projects. They also perform grass roots or major revamp projects.Some requirements for this role include:
The Role:
* Production and checking of design calculations.
* Production and checking of reports and specifications.
* Production and checking of Data Sheets, Design Documents and rising of Requisitions.
* Checking Instrumentation, control systems and vendor package equipment complies with the company and project specifications.
* Ensure that equipment specified and supplied is fit for purpose and meets project and company standards.
* Responsible for the technical quality of work carried out.
* Responsible for managing design sub-contracts.
* Provide technical input to FEED, feasibility and other studies as required.
* Ensure the timely completion of deliverables.
You will ideally have/be:
* Experience as an Instrument Engineer in the oil gas and petrochemical industries.
* A working knowledge based on previous experience, of current codes, standards and accepted working practices with respect to instrument engineering in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries.
