About the role;
  • With continued to grow they're always looking for self-motivated, talented, experienced and client-focused people who understand the challenges businesses are facing, to join the Medical Devices Assessor Team.
  • Thier team of Medical Devices Assessors work closely with clients assessing their organization and quality management system against ISO 13485 and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • The role is a rewarding and dynamic job. There is never a dull day - each client is different, so each day and each assessment is different. And with the increasing importance, complexity and risks of medical technology in healthcare systems, robust assessments in light of increasing regulatory requirements become increasingly important for device manufacturers.
  • The role is field-based, client facing and, reporting to your Team Manager, you will preferably live in UK, France, Germany or Netherlands, ideally close to a major airport. As our clients are based in a variety of locations, a full driving licence is required as daily travel to and from our clients is an essential part of the role which could include overnight stays and some international travel.

About you;
  • You are a medical device professional, educated to degree level, or equivalent, in either a Science or Engineering discipline such as Electrical, / Electronic Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Biology or Physics with experience of working within the design and/or manufacture of a range of medical devices.
  • Ideally you will have a working knowledge of ISO 13485 with experience of processes, management systems and applicable regulatory & product related requirements, e.g. MDD 93/42/EEC.
  • You will be a self-starter with excellent planning and organisational skills, demonstrating tenacity and resilience to deliver assessments whilst supporting and managing clients and their expectations, with the ability to routinely work on your own and make decisions.
  • We expect fluency in the language of the country in which you are based as well as in English for non-UK positions.
