Description
Requirements and Experience:-
Experience with C/C++ programming language, embedded software development environment/tools, and source code control tools -
Experience with firmware development for tunable lasers, MEMS, MZ modulators, wavelength locker, and optical modules & subsystems -
Experience with control loops (i.e. PID) for optical components -
Experience with debugging tools such as oscilloscope, logic analyzer, optical spectrum analyzer, optical switch, wavelength meter, and optical power meter -
Knowledge of statistical analysis of test data (i.e. JMP) -
Strong communication and presentation skills -
Ability to work independently in an inter-disciplinary team -
Self-motivated and possessing strong analytical and problem solving skills -
10+ years of experience in firmware development for tunable lasers, MEMS, MZ modulators, wavelength locker, and optical modules & subsystems -
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering

Experience with optical/digital test equipment (i.e. Oscilloscope, Digital Communication Analyzer, Optical Spectrum Analyzer, Polarization Scrambler, Optical Switch, Power Meter, Wavelength Meter, Optical Attenuator, et cetera)
