Description
A leading Healthcare provider in the bay area, San Francisco is now seeking someone to fill their Clinical Systems Analyst position.The main focus of this Clinical Systems Analyst position is implementation and support for the external laboratory interfaces and the associated tables, processes, laboratory data, and reports associated with the use of these interfaces.
This position will install, configure, administer and support assigned interfaces, systems and processes with minimal guidance from senior members of the team.
Accountabilities
- Provides support and triages incidents and issues related to Epic Care modules associated with external laboratory interfaces and tables.
- Provides general support for laboratory outreach data to include interface monitoring, identification and scanning of missing data, and research of patient identification issues.
- Perform role of system architect or designer for small-sized projects.
- Assists IT Laboratory Outreach Lead and other team members in developing and maintaining requirements, specifications, and test cases for new or enhanced functionality related to laboratory outreach processes.
- Leads small to medium complexity enhancements for workflows.
- Leads test activities for small to medium complexity new implementation, enhancements or upgrades.
- Implements changes using documented procedures that are compliant with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Provide ongoing troubleshooting, support, and maintenance of applications; including 24/7 on call coverage as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Epic certification in the EpicCare Ambulatory modules
- Requires 3 or more years of professional experience
- Requires a minimum of 1 years of experience with EpicCare Ambulatory module required
