Description
You will report into the Regulatory Manager and undertake all work necessary for the business to remain in constant compliance with all local and regional regulations.Key roles/responsibilities:
- Develop regulatory strategies for food supplements and, advise and align them with regulatory and business management
- Advise the product design and commercial teams on EU level and member state legislation to ensure product regulatory compliance across the European Union and within member states where non-harmonized elements of legislation or local guidance prevails
- Understand the regulatory requirements under Article 13.5 and 14 of EC Regulation to support the approval of new nutrition and health claims on the Community register, and be capable of leading the process of dossier preparation, validation and submission
- Evaluate Regulatory acceptability of new formulations, of proposed claims and lead the development of product labelling for the new regions
- Collaborate with the multi-functional initiative planning teams to support project registration plans and ensure that regulatory milestones are met according to the development plans
- Work with regulatory colleagues in other countries to prepare registration dossiers for food supplements, and help the local organizations respond to any questions or issues raised by their competent authorities
Applicants must:
- Have 3+ years of regulatory experience in Consumer Health/Supplements/Nutrition
- Be up to date with current regulations, laws and industry requirements
- Be able to effectively prioritise and manage workload to meet tight deadlines
- Have strong influencing and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Be able to build good collaborative working relationships
- Have a good commercial awareness and mix across diverse commercial structure
