Role: Cyber Security AnalystRate: € per day
Location: Dublin
Type: 3-6 month Contract
A large Financial institution is looking for a new addition to their Security Team. They are looking for a passionate individual with the ability to detect attacks, hackers and APT's.This is a rare chance for a Cyber Security Analyst to join cutting edge incident monitoring and response team!
Day-to-day
- Assessing and responding to security alerts and driving identified issues to closure.
- Analysing host and network based logs for indicators of compromise.
- Authorizing reports on incident response activities.
- Communication and interaction with partners, stakeholders, management, and executives.
- Training and mentoring of junior team members.
- Process development and documentation.
Experience/Qualifications
- Experience in one or multiple areas such as Windows, UNIX, mid-range, mainframe, firewalls, database, privileged access management, DLP, threat detection analysis, and/or information risk management
- Able to follow Operational processes and workflows
- Experience with reviewing raw log files, data correlation, and analysis (i.e. user/system access, application, firewall, network flow, IDS, system/database logs)
- Strong deductive reasoning, critical thinking, problem solving, and prioritization skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills
- Strong team player that collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporate input from various sources
-GIAC, CEH, CISSP or other industry standard Information Assurance Certification
-First Class BSc (Hons) Computer Science
