Description
As a Cognos BI Developer you will be required to carry out business analysis to understand it's model and further design and develop a strong Business Intelligence solution.Experience and technical skills required
- At leas 4 years experience developing with the full Cognos BI Suite
- Experience of Cognos 8 and preferable Cognos 10
- Extensive ETL development using Cognos Data Manager
- Development with Framework Manager, Transformer, Dynamic Cubes, Report Studio and Cognos Administration
- Knowledge of full SQL tack would be advantageous
- Java script and HTML experience
- Created BI solutions working in conjunction with Salesforce
Key duties
- Requirement gathering
- Analysis of current systems to troubleshoot and further develop
- Data warehouse development
- Testing of BI solutions
- Maintain and trobleshoot exiting BI systems
- Docuementation
- Work with end users to train them and troubleshoot BI issues
- Regulary review BI reporting to insure the business is always benefiting from reports as best they can
- Bring new ideas to the table
