Senior Digital Planning Manager - Global online travel brand - Bracknell, Berkshire - 6 month contract

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading global travel brand operating across 166 countries.  You be integral in delivering strategic digital planning in a department that is accountable for all traffic to the client's sites (web, mobile web and apps), the conversion of these visitors into sales, and the digital retention and loyalty of these customers to generate repeat sales.

This will initially be a six month contract, with the possibility of extension after this period.

Desired Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Must have at least 5 years' experience in a Senior Digital role focussed on commercial performance
  • Business level English or above.
  • Excellent numerical skills including MS Excel
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent influencing skills
  • Self-starter, can do positive attitude
  • Budget management

Desirable

  • Line Management experience
  • 7 - 10 years + experience in senior digital planning role

Responsibilities

Using specialist expertise, knowledge and experience of Digital:

  • To support the annual digital planning process, with the central/country/licensee teams as well as creative and media agencies, gaining buy-in/agreement from stakeholders
  • To work closely to Head of Web Analytics to provide overall evaluation of digital marketing performance against key business targets, to senior stakeholders, providing future recommendations and scenarios, with a focus on EMEA region
  • To oversee overall digital marketing spend/budget, overseeing adjustments to the plans and country PLs to deliver business targets
  • To assist with the digital sales and marketing strategy and integration of all programmes and activities
  • To work very closely to the Digital Leadership team and all Commercial Directors in Countries and Licensees to coordinate all programmes
  • To work closely with the regional Digital Managers to optimise performance and agree priorities
  • To manage the roster of 3rd party digital suppliers including quarterly/annual reviews and contracts
  • To manage process development and governance within the digital department
  • To provide support to the Director of Digital Sales and Marketing
