Progressive Global Energy has been tasked with sourcing a Land Technician for an Exploration and Production Company who's corporate office is in Birmingham, AL. A successful candidate will have the ability to demonstrate increasing responsibility in oil and gas exploration and development operations. Texas land experience preferred, but all relevant experience will be considered. Below is a list of responsibilities and skills a successful candidate must hold:- Prepare and review exhibits for various agreements.
- Prepare communication agreements, pooling agreements, JOA's, leases and assignments.
- Organize and process lease packets, check requests and invoices for payment.
- Track budget, lease information, well information, proposals, and broker activity on a regular basis.
- Perform administrative tasks associated with State and Federal agency filings and reports.
- Interface with the Land Department and the subsurface group to communicate participant data requirements.
- Maintain and organize departmental files.
- Assist with any special projects including research and creating various reports for management and partners.
- Other related duties as required.
Required Skills:
The qualified applicant will have a minimum two (2) years work experience in the oil & gas industry, with experience as a Land Professional, Lease Broker, Lease Analyst or Division Order Analyst preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skill level required. Experience with Land Management Applications a plus. PLM or BS/BA Degree preferred.
