Description
Quality EngineerEstablished and growing global manufacture of medical device products has an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Engineer to provide support related to quality engineering for manufacturing by solving quality related issues, improving product quality, reducing costs and investigating customer complaints. Will utilized correction and preventative action systems to pursue continuous improvement of products and quality systems. Will participate with supplier support and play a role in cost reduction projects that are in support of lean initiatives. Will be a part of R&D project teams, complete validations and do validations associated with quality of products. Relocation assistance is provided.
- Engineering related bachelor degree with a preference for a BSEE
- 4-5 years minimum in a FDA regulated industry in quality engineering in the medical device industry
- Must be skilled with root cause investigation ( 8D and fishbone preferred )
- Strong organizational skills
- Good writing skills
- Skilled at analyzing information from SPC charts, regulations, diagrams, data tables and blueprints
- Good at multitasking
- Team player that can work independently
- Some supplier quality engineering experience
