A Senior System Analyst role has came up in a top healthcare provider in San DiegoWhat this role entails
The Senior System Analyst will work closely with their counterparts in Patient Access / Patient Financial Services in developing, testing and implementing various aspects of GECB system modules that support the Revenue Cycle. You will also support other niche applications, ensuring the system updates are applied and leading upgrades.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems
- Relevant experience in excess of four years or appropriate certifications may be substituted
- Five years of experience in a health system that included supervisory or managerial responsibilities in conjunction with systems analysis and/or data processing type activities
- Technical expertise with GE Centricity Business BAR and/or HPA, VM, SCHED and/or TES
- Experience with other revenue cycle systems such as Meditech/LSS, Epic, Siemens, etc.
- Two years in a systems analyst role
- Knowledge of IS principles and practices, the ability to systematically interpret functional requirements into applications design
- Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical users/clients
