Description
One of San Francisco's leading healthcare providers is now recruiting for a Senior Systems Analyst.The Senior Systems Analyst will apply systems analysis knowledge to develop detailed systems requirements in support of Facets Application problem management, ongoing systems maintenance, and enhancements. The systems analyst will also be required to research analyze and evaluate existing functionality to propose modifications to address business needs.
Accountabilities
· Analyze and interpret business and technical requirements into system requirements.
· Conduct research and design solutions based on Facets Applications functionality and constraints.
· Facilitate and engage in the requirements sessions and development of System Use Case and Boundary Specification documents.
· Participate in root cause analysis.
· Lead or facilitate solution design sessions with business and technical participants.
Qualifications and Experience
* 5-8 years of experience in a systems analyst role or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field/role.
* At least 2 years experience in Healthcare EDI transaction sets
* Experience in translation of EDI transactions to Facets Gateway format.
* Ability to understand carrier EDI or data companion guidelines.
* Experience with Facets.
* Proficient working in collaborative, cross functional work teams comprised of business and technology participants and internal and external vendor partner resources.
* Experience using software development life-cycle methodology like (such as Agile, RUP, waterfall).
* Proficient in MS-Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Project, Visio).
* Knowledge of SQL, ETL scripts, Java, .Net is preferred.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred.
Compensation
