IT SERVICE DESK MANAGER - £47,000 plus package

An NHS trust leading the latest technical developments in the UK healthcare sector are looking to appoint an experienced, successful and forward thinking IT Service Desk Manager on a permanent basis.

The IT Service Desk Manager will hold a senior position within the IT team and will be responsible for the management of both 1st line service desk analysts and 2nd line service desk technicians. The IT Service Desk Manager will also lead and develop the team to enable them to deliver exceptional customer service and timely resolutions to incidents in line with ITIL standards.

To be considered for this opportunity you will be an experienced IT Service Desk Manager, preferably with NHS industry experience (although not necessary) plus;

- ITIL expert or similar qualifications.

- Familiar with Hornbill.

- In depth experience of supplier/contract manager.

- Extensive IT service management.

- Some project management methodology knowledge ie Prince.

- Solid and expert level knowledge of service desk applications; desktop and server technologies and data and voice networking.

A salary of between £40,000 - £47,000 is on offer depending on experience and will be accompanied by a great package. This is the opportunity to lead a friendly, engaging and pro-active team on to yet more success.
