OSS-RC and EMA Senior Engineer

My client is searching for a OSS RC and Ericsson EMA Senior Engineer Back Office. The successful candidate will join the Second Line Maintenance Team which consists of highly skilled network element specialists.

The team is responsible for troubleshooting of all NW or platform problems. They ensure continuous support to the network resulting into highest network availability and quality.

Requirements:
  • Min. 4 years experience in similar function working with Ericsson OSS RC administration
  • Min. 6 years in telecommunication operations
  • Strong experience Solaris, Unix, HPUX, Linux, Windows Server OS, Sybase, Shell/Perl/python Scripting, Citrix, Veritas, Remedy, VMWare
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with ENIQ, HACS, EMA
  • Knowledge of protocols such as TCP/IP, CORBA, SNMP,SSH,LDAP, etc
  • Able to manage and maintain OSS-RC system, plan work order implementation, prioritize tasks
  • Strong background in specific competence area E///RAN, E///Core & E///OSS
  • Leadership skills in organizing technical projects
  • Good documentation skills, able to describe complicated technical issues
Responsibilities:
  • Second line maintenance for Ericsson OSS-RC and EMA systems
  • Correct all problems detected and ensure the correct handling of future similar issues.
  • Perform operations center routines and preventive maintenance of OSS-RC and related systems
  • Assist and support RAN, CORE and PS engineers in their operational activities
  • In coordination with vendors, support the implementation of software updates and hardware changes
  • Responsible for interfacing between the operations and maintenance organization and vendors
