Site Safety Advisor/HSE Engineer
Contract Location: Middlesborough
Duration: 6 months +
A Site Safety Engineer is required to join a large contract team onsite a new build waste to energy plant to take responsibility for a large part of the safety policies and corrective actions, including being able to inspect and react daily to safety issues, including hands on first aid.
Safety Supervisors will need some experience with the following:
*Safety inspections/audits
*Emergency plan experience, including conducting and documenting drills
*Site safety documentation updates, including contractor and subcontractor safety training
*Involvement in the development of long term safety plans
*Document and report on all incidents, accidents and near misses
*Some experience with: Safety in Construction to include - Excavation, crane, rigging, scaffolding etc.
In addition to the above, 2 years relevant experience within safety and a recognisable Safety qualification is required.
The successful candidate will also possess an ability to handle emergency situations and be able to administer first aid. (CPR and AED)
