Do you want to work and live in the Mediterranean Sun?!One Systems Technician/Systems Analyst position is available with an international IT organisation in Brindisi, Italy. As part of a growing technical team you will be responsible for the maintenance and administration of the Servers and operating systems. Your experience should include Windows, VMware, MS Exchange and Active Directory. This is an English speaking role.
System Technician duties:
. Provide maintenance and administration of the Servers and operating systems
. Help maintain standard configurations, monitoring and analysis tools
. Support the release process, including final testing and deployment of new server hardware, operating systems, directory service and messaging solutions
. Provide related technical documentation
. Problem identification and solution, especially within the data centres environment
. POSSIBLE shift or stand-by work if required
. Other duties as required
System Analyst required experience:
. 3 years experience, preferably in a datacentre environment
. Good technical knowledge of Windows, VMware and Linux Operating Systems (MS Windows , Vsphere, SLES and RHEL)
. MS Active Directory and MS Exchange experience
. Technical knowledge of Virtualisation technology
. HP hardware (BL/DL) and SAN EMC/HP technology experience is a bonus
. General understanding of Local and Wide Area Network concepts
. Experience with DRBC solutions like VMware SRM is preferred
. Knowledge of Information Security
. ITIL knowledge is highly beneficial
. Microsoft certification is a bonus (MCSE...)
. Excellent knowledge of English (both written and verbal)
. Knowledge of Italian and/or Spanish is desirable
