SAP IT Operations Specialist (Basis, BC) - Brussels, Belgium - 6 months - Start July 1st
The SAP BC Operations specialist will work in the Competence Center Operations Execution to support the daily operations run. Because of their expert knowledge, analytical skills and experience, knows how to tackle, to follow and to find solutions, operational incidents and problems, has a constant focus on the prevention of incidents/problems. Works with various support teams. Provides support to the Incident and Problem Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities:
? Functional and technical understanding of SAP environment and infrastructure in order to perform problem analysis and reach. Structural solutions
? Managing the solutions throughout the life cycle.
o Introduction, optimization and phase-out
o Functional and technical setup of solutions (SAP BC and infrastructure)
o Planning and monitoring of maintenances, releases and changes.
o Transfer and monitoring of knowledge within the team
o Manage projects transferred from development to operations.
? Advising to performance problems through knowledge of SAP BC and the infrastructure landscape
? Support of SAP BC operators, providing solutions
? Knowledge of monitoring and tuning of Servers, databases and interfaces
? Knowledge of SAP transports, patches, Oss notes.
? General knowledge infrastructure

? Technical skills:
SAP BC knowledge

Knowledge of monitoring and Jobscheduling

Knowledge/Experience
? Profile:
o Minimum 5 years experience in SAP operations environment
o Concrete experience with Incident & Problem Management
? Languages: English and preferably Dutch or French
