Senior Web Developer (full-time)

We're looking for an experienced, savvy web developer who can help architect our product and help guide more-junior developers. If that's you, please read on.

As a developer at Funding Gates, you'll join our entirely remote product team. This isn't just any remote position: The team is experienced at working remotely and is equipped with the tools to do so successfully.

Responsibilities

Participate in iterative/agile software development in a primarily Ruby on Rails and Ember.js environment

Develop high-quality software via TDD/BDD, participate in code reviews

Work closely with team members, designers, and customers to build the right thing, right

Pairing, if that's your thing

Excellent communication skills

Contribute to the open-source community, author blog posts

Requirements

Amazing development skills: you have a track record of living the “Smart, and Gets Things Done” ethos.

Extensive experience with Ruby and web development
Comfortable with JavaScript

You are: humble, honest, friendly, optimistic, caring, trusting, and you value teamwork over heroics, collaboration over silos, and pragmatism over dogma.

Experience with Ember.js is a bonus, but if you're the person we want, learning it will be no big deal.

You work hours that overlap Eastern time 9-5 by at least 5 hours
