Description
ORACLE DEVELOPER - 3 MONTHS - LEEDSOracle Developer required to provide additional Oracle Forms & Reports development resource to a major financial client based in Leeds on an initial 3 month basis paying between £ per day.
You will be a part of a strong team who will be responsible for developing and maintaining the application, and supporting the migration of the application from 10g to 11g on the WebLogic 12c platform.
.Skills Required:
- Previous Oracle 11g experience is essential.
- Experience and expertise in 3rd line support, development and maintenance of software systems in a user organisation.
- Experience and expertise in the following; Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports and Oracle database 11g.
- Experience and expertise in all aspects of the software development lifecycle:
- Requirements analysis (requirements documents and functional specification documents)
- System impact analysis (identification of changes necessary)
- Estimation (effort and elapsed)
- Design
- Software development
- Testing (unit, system and user acceptance)
- Maintenance of system documentation.
Desirable Skills:
- Java development experience
- Business applications especially in the Financial Business sector.
- WebLogic application server
- Linux development experience.
- Previous experience of upgrading Oracle versions
