C# FX Developer - London - Investment Banking - Long-term contract - Circa £550/dayA leading Investment Bank in London are seeking a strong C# Developer to join the development and support of various eCommerce systems team covering all Capital Markets asset classed on a long-term and challenging contract opportunity.
This role will offer not only longevity and challenges, it will also provide strong personal development in working within an agile team with modern technology.
The main tasks in this role
- Creation of new code to meet new business requirements
- Team working to troubleshoot production problems originating from code and other environmental factors
- Providing build and deployments to all environments from development to production
To be considered for this role you must meet the following technical skills/experience:
- C# and .NET 4.0+ (server and client side, including multi-threading)
- MS SQL Server and T-SQL
- Windows (including IIS) and Linux servers
- Build tools
- Unit testing and mock frameworks
- Supplemental skills in C++, Unix script, Java and Javascript is advantageous.
From a business knowledge aspect, you must have knowledge/experience of:
- Prior experience in eCommerce development and good knowledge of the FX market.
