Description

The Analyst, HR Configuration role provides support for our Human Resources systems including, but not limited to, system configuration, design and testing, issue analysis and resolution, and case management.

1. System Configuration/Administration
  • Participate in requirement and design sessions for new system initiatives and enhancements
  • Configure HR systems and process, ensuring business and functional requirements are effectively met within deployed solution
  • Partner with vendor, technical and business resources on development initiatives (data interfaces, customization, homegrown solutions, etc.) as necessary
  • Manage system loads including load file creation, validation, processing and error analysis/resolution
  • Participate in project/enhancement deployment activities
  • Remain current on available and upcoming configuration options and functionality within supported systems
2. Testing
  • Work with vendor, technical and business resources to test system releases (version upgrades, enhancements, etc.).
  • Develop and execute unit and quality test plans related to system configuration/issue resolution
  • Assist in the coordination of business testing related to system configuration/issue resolution
  • Ensure configuration consistency and overall configuration management between test and production environments
  • Management of test data, roles and access for instances within supported systems
3. Technical Support
  • Identify, analyze, test and resolve system issues according to established SLAs
  • Update case management with issue description/diagnosis, proposed resolution according to established SLAs
  • Communicate issue impact and resolution details according to defined communication plan
  • Determine and propose short-term gap fixes (as necessary)
  • Diagnose and identify technical issues requiring next tier, vendor, technical and/or leadership escalations
4. Other
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendor, technical and business resources of supported systems
  • Support report definition and creation activities (as necessary)
  • Create and update internal team, system and project documentation including, but not limited to, process, procedural, reference, support, etc.
  • Cross-train and support team members (as necessary) across HR system landscape
  • Accountability for workload, project deliverables and milestones
SKILLS:

Minimum Required Skills/Competencies:
  • Minimum 1 years of experience as a system administrator/configuration analyst.
  • Relevant work experience with Software Development life cycle (SDLC) and Change Control and Software Configuration Management (SCM) processes.
  • Experience supporting HR Management Systems including Core Employee Data, Applicant Tracking, Talent Management, Performance Management, Learning Management, Payroll, etc.
  • Minimum 3 years technical support experience required
  • Experience with both on premise and cloud-based systems a plus
  • Experience with implementation of cloud-based systems and migration from on premise solutions a plus
  • System administration/configuration
  • Experience with HR Payroll and Timekeeping systems & production support background
