Position Description:
Synergy Consulting Group is looking for a System Administrator for a six month contract position with a Fortune 500 company in the Cleveland area.
The primary goal of this role will be to help expedite and facilitate any infrastructure changes that are needed by the rest of our technical teams.
This position pays up to $35 per hour.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:
The role will be expected to support common Windows server tasks (Active Directory group management, application installations, server configuration and monitoring), WebSphere server tasks (mainly tracking work of other teams), and to coordinate between the software engineers and the various PNC infrastructure teams. These coordination tasks will include scheduling and coordinating Disaster Recovery testing, network load balancing, and coordinating vulnerability testing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an IT-related field
- 4+ years related experience, equivalent experience would be acceptable in lieu of education
- Possess an advanced and thorough understanding of IT concepts, including common administrative tasks, Active Directory groups, network load balancing, and testing techniques
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Experience with a Windows 7 deployment project and understanding potential pitfalls (preferred)
