SENIOR INVESTMENT SOLUTIONS SALES - ASSET MANAGEMENT

The EMPLOYER

International asset management having offices in every key financial hub around the globe, our client has more than 150 years of history and success over the time.

Leader in alternative investment, they are today looking for a strong Front Office Investment solutions profile, having a Swiss network and a track record in fund raising.

The ROLE

You will report to the MD and you will work within a small team, your main duties will be:
  • Fund raising: generate new assets and revenues from your existing networks, from leads, prospects and cold calling as well
  • Develop and maintain relationships within your institutional clients (mainly family offices, private banks, pension funds, etc.)
  • Share information, leads and business acumen with the team (brainstorming session, regular meeting)
  • Sell the offering of the firm, its products and services (exposure to different assets classes)
  • Define and execute the strategy in collaboration with the Local and International managers
  • Respect deadlines and targets, follow the compliance rule and provide ad hoc internal support


The REQUESTED SKILLS
  • University degree or equivalent in Finance/Business or MBA with min. 6 years experience in Swiss sales (with a successful track record and proven asset raising skills)
  • Large exposure and living network amongst Swiss Family Offices, Private banks, Pension Funds, Insurance Groups, etc.)
  • Previous experience in a similar environment (asset management ideally)
  • Good knowledge of financial products, various strategies (systematic/discretionary) and multiple assets classes (bonds, fund, UCITS, long - short only, etc.)
  • German/Swiss German native language, must be fluent and able to work in English and in French (+ ideally Italian)
  • In-depth understanding of financial markets and financial products, hedge fund strategies, long only equity and bond strategies
  • Basic understanding of Basel III and Solvency II
  • Self starter, self driven, service minded, customer oriented, motivated and strong communication skills
  • Possessing a EU passport and/or a Swiss passport
