Job Description:
The candidate would work for the Client Production Services Technology team providing functional support for the various in-house applications and specializing in Change and Incident Management. They will primarily work closely with Change and Incident management team lead to ensure that all changes to the production environment are reviewed and approved in a controlled manner.
Primary Duties
* Work closely with Change Management team lead to ensure that standardized methods and procedures are used to minimize the number and impact of any related incidents upon release.
* Ensure all changes to the production environment are assessed and approved in a controlled manner to make sure each change is recorded to audit standards.
* Coordinate change release schedule with Release Management team
* Report on production issues in emails to business users or to PB IT team leads and record production issues in a post-mortem log.
Technical Skills
* Strong technical background with emphasis of Windows based application support (knowledge of Internet Explorer, Excel, Windows registry, etc.).
* Working knowledge of databases, SQL queries and UNIX commands
* FTP, SFTP, FTPS, CFT file transfer knowledge
* Must work well with a team
* Troubleshooting experience
