My client is a global leader in full-service natural gas compression and a premier provider of services and equipment for oil & gas production, processing, treating, transportation and storage.Essential Duties & Responsibilities
-Supports the department by studying engineering sketches, specifications, and supporting documents; modeling, designs, details, documents, and verifies mechanical, structural, electrical, electronic parts, subassemblies and assemblies with all levels of complexity
-Ensures adherence to quality and cost parameters of the project
-Depicts relationships of components and parts; identifies dimensions, angles, curvatures, tolerances and materials to abide by department standards
-Prepares bills of materials and specifications; creates full package documentation required
-Makes various calculations and frequently uses charts and tables to accommodate the design process
Job Requirements
-Preferred Education and Relevant Experience/Training
-Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or related field
-10+ years related experience and/or training in Oil and Gas or relevant industries
-Experience with incorporating modular or packaged equipment systems into an overall plant design
-Experience in packaging and skid mounting of equipment
Computer Skills
-Microsoft Office Suite
-AutoCAD preferred but not necessary
