My client are currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Supervisor for a major project in the South West of England on an initial 12 month contract.A quick start is available and a competitive rate of pay for the right candidate.
The project is a major mining site worth in the region of £130 million which involves a lot of heavy mechanical plant so a background in heavy engineering particularly valves, pumps etc is important.
Due to the size of the project experience with similar scale sites is essential as the candidate must be able to demonstrate times in which they have supervised major packages of work.
This role is for the engineering contractor on-site and therefore the position will entail interacting with the client and frequently liaising with there staff about the progress of mechanical works.
HSE is an extremely important aspect of this project so the supervisor must have a good knowledge and formal safety qualification and be able to work to clear specifications, RAMS and permits.
