Description
SQL Developer (SQL, SSRS, EXCEL, ACCESS, GIS )My client, a local authority based in Yorkshire, are seeking a SQL Developer to build, develop and maintain key specialist reporting databases and management information reporting for the Children's/Adult/ Crime and safety services. The candidate will also support the collection, collation and submission of a number of statutory government returns and data collection exercises.
Essential skills:
-SQL server -Extensive successful experience in managing and developing large scale SQL databases. Preferably within a social care environment.
-SSRS
-Excel-Advanced knowledge of visual basic and/or SQL programming language
-Access
Desirable
-Business Object experience
-Knowledge or experience of Local Government. Understanding of the role of information in a large organisation.
You will be working within a fairly large team and be given the exposure to add value to various business units both technically and at business level.
Rate: £250/day - £300/day
Location: Yorkshire
Contract Length: 6 months
