Sr. Project Manager - SDLC - Payment Processing Industry

Summary:
In this role as Sr. Project Manager you will manage large-scale Development SDLC Projects. The ideal candidate is a strong Project Manager generalist with excellent communication skills, and has a minimum of 7 years of experience in managing SDLC projects in a Matrix environment.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the project plan inclusive of clarifying business benefits, stakeholder engagement, scoping and estimating, project resource coordination, budget management, driving cross-functional team deliverables and schedules, hitting target milestones, managing assigned projects according to plan, risk and issue management; and collaborating closely with stakeholders during the complete project life cycle
- Working directly with customers or through affiliations with banks, our client serves more than one million people in the retail, hospitality, airline, health care, education, and public sectors
Qualifications:
- 7+ years SDLC/application project mgmt. in enterprise environment
- Experience managing projects in the areas of transaction processing, boarding, billing, inventory management, ETL, web front ends, Middleware, data warehouse
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in Matrix PM
- Good PM skills, change/risk/issue mgmt., project planning/executing/monitoring
- Payments/financial experience a plus
- Infrastructure nice to have, but not a hard requirement, this should NOT be primary experience
- Big 4 consulting a plus
- Clarity & Project Workbench experience nice to have
- Multi location/offshore teams experience, this will involve working with teams in SE Asia, Europe, NA and LATAM
- Fluent in Portuguese a plus
- Experience with dealing with business stakeholders and senior management
