Description
Synergy Consulting Group is looking for a Senior Oracle Apps DBA to work with a growing, Fortune 500 company in the Cleveland, OH area on a six (6) to 12 month project.
This position pays between $50 - $75 per hour depending on experience.
The start date for this opportunity will be between July - August.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
In-depth knowledge of the entire Oracle databases and Oracle Applications environment and architecture
Strong technical expertise and functional exposure to Oracle eBusiness Suite (release 12 and 11i)
A minimum of 10 years working with customers to build and formulate business requirements
At least 10 years of hands-on experience developing documentation, white papers and presentations to all levels of management and technical staff
Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
10+ years experience in working with Oracle database technologies
10+ years experience of both functional and technical knowledge in supporting Oracle E-business Suite in an enterprise setting
10+ years of experience with supporting Oracle SSO, OIM, OBIEE, Data Guard,
Oracle RAC, ASM, and Sun Cluster on Linux and Solaris systems
Exposure to other RDBMS systems such as MySQL and SQL*Server
Understand and execute the IT processes of Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Configuration Management
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in computer science or related field and 10+ years IT experience, or equivalent experience
Certifications in Oracle 10g/11g Administration desirable
Certifications in Oracle 10g RAC Administration desirable
