Scala Developer - Video Streaming/VOD
Scala Developer required for global video streaming company based in Central London.
The Scala Developer will be working on a highly available, highly scalable video on demand platform which is experiencing a huge surge in popularity at the moment and are growing their development team significantly in order to provide the quickest, most reliable platform in the industry.
The Scala Developer will be working in a varied technical environment based around Scala, Java, JVM, Ruby and C#, and therefore will already be, or aspire to be, a technical polyglot capable of drawing upon a wide repertoire of languages and able to wisely select the best tool for the job.
The Scala Developer should be of the opinion that Agile is far more than just a project management tool and will form an active part of a highly Agile team based around, BDD, Kanban and XP - some experience of these methodologies are naturally highly desirable.
