SUMMARY:

Act as a lead consultant to the Operations team in the development of the strategy and operating procedures for roll-out functionality. Will include supporting the project team responsible for the delivery of this project whilst assisting the Operations team in the delivery of this strategic change

DUTIES:

  • Represent the business in the development of the strategy

  • Work with the Project team, IT, Sponsors and Stakeholders in the delivery of this project

  • Work with the Project team and the Business in the development of plans for the roll-out functionality and the subsequent delivery of these plans

  • Is a technical expert without management responsibilities, seen as a key advisor on significant business decisions.

  • Analyses and documents the requirements of the Operations business as appropriate to ensures that the delivery meets their objectives. Provides assurance to stakeholders that their underlying needs are understood and being addressed.

  • Ensures that any solution that is delivered, is both efficient and utilizes headcount in an effective and cost efficient manner

  • Maintains regular contact with peers, internal and external to NT, including regulators and professional organizations; keeping abreast of emerging industry trends

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

  • Must have in depth Trade and Settlement background including strong understanding of trade bookings and matching processes as used in the market

  • Skills related to Business Analysis responsibilities within a Global Custody or Broking environment are a requisite.

  • Able to work with a wide ranging group of people with different skill sets and abilities

  • Exposure to European banking regulatory initiatives (CSDR, AIFMD, UCITS) and would be beneficial.

  • Requires excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Has the ability to modify standards or processes to adapt to changing situations.

  • Able to work closely with the Operations team whilst at the same time interacting with the various project and IT groups

  • Demonstrates excellent experience in change initiatives,
