My client is looking for PMO manager/lead to join their team working on the Solvency II Programme in Paris. This company is a Global Insurance company, and they're looking for someone with an International background, who is fluent in both French and English and has strong Insurance experience.

General Description

  • Develop, implement and manage a portfolio function that delivers alignment and prioritisation of the programme to strategic objectives
  • Support strategic and annual business planning processes
  • Develop and implement a benefits portfolio system, including benefits tracking and management.
  • Design, implement and maintain Management dashboards and reporting (includes Operational Change Committee, Boards, etc)
  • Provide oversight, scrutiny and challenge providing objective assurance to the Executive Team
  • Design, implement and manage a pragmatic framework of methods and tools that represent best practice and support change, delivery, risk, dependency, cost, and quality management.
  • Implement and maintain delivery and change management controls, ensuring consistency and compliance.
  • Provide support services for the facilitation of programme and project initiation, including supporting the development of robust business cases, risk assessments, initiation workshops, planning.
  • Facilitate and embed Post Implementation Reviews, communicating lessons learned and facilitating continuous improvements based on recommendations

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in establishing and managing Project Management Office
  • Experience in supporting strategic and business planning processes
  • Strong knowledge of project management techniques and tools
  • Thorough understanding of project financials including business cases and benefit tracking
  • Relationship Management - ability to develop and maintain relationships with key business areas and stakeholders
  • Experience with corporate wide portfolio and programme benefit tracking
  • Experience implementing and managing on line programme tracking and knowledge exchange
  • Good Insurance backgroud
  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Fluency in both French and English
