Marketing Manager - London/Reading - 12 month contract - £25,000 - £32,000 per annum

Our client is seeking a Marketing Manager to be Based primarily in London and occasionally in Reading (circa 1x/week or every 2 weeks) on a 12 month initial contract.

Primary responsibilities of the role:
oSupport the CMO for startups in implementing all aspects of the startup marketing strategy, including ideation, project management, execution, copywriting, reporting, social and web channels, etc, for example:
oManage social media channels, including content planning, posting and tweeting, writing blog posts, etc.; promoting other key or other relevant events to our social media channels and looking for opportunities cross-group to amplify
oManage regular comms on accelerator activity, including internal reporting as well as updates to mentors, partners and others
oCo-ordinate campaigns as required
oManage partner relationships as required
*Reporting: prepare monthly Rhythm of the Business reports, including liaison with broader team on stats, key initiatives and outcomes, including manage reporting of new names to the 'brain' database. Produce reports and marketing updates on the effectiveness of marketing activities and social media
*Event Management: organise branding and collateral for events; working closely with operations manager to deliver seamless events; end-to-end project management of events as needed

Skills Required:
*Previous marketing and social media experience, 3-5 years ideally
*Exemplary written and oral communication and copy-writing skills a must, including ability to write effective copy - promotional, invitational, social media, web
*Ability to manage marketing projects from end to end, often working autonomously and with a degree of ambiguity but also working with the broader audience marketing team to deliver on marketing objectives
*Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high degree of organisation and staying focus on the end objectives
*Good working knowledge of and skills in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint as well as social media tools
*Ability to manage budgets, open POs and general fiscal responsibility, managing projects within budget and timescales
