Description
Main List of Duties- Assemble, align, integrate and test complex optical systems in a manufacturing environment
- Use of a wide variety of metrology equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, callipers, etc.) to test a precision optical system
- Subassembly, assembly, and system level building, integration and testing of laser imaging optics
- Building opto-mechanical assemblies and metrology (optical, mechanical and electrical)
- Knowledge of quality and FDA requirements for medical devices
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor's degree in EE, Computer Science, or relevant technical degree
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience with optical devices
- Expertise in optical alignment, integration and test experience involving lasers, imaging systems, optical metrology, interferometers, and spectrometers
