Description
Essential duties:- Perform inspection of manufactured parts, subassemblies, gauges and raw material, complete first article inspection of new and revised parts; conduct final inspection per established criteria.
- Identifies and issues non-conforming product reports for product and raw material that do not meet specifications.
- Accurately complete all quality related documents. Perform review of Device History Records and other documentation for compliance to established procedures and Good Documentation Practices.
- Serves as the technical knowledge resource for others.
- Labels and packages products in a control environment per established procedures
Certifications: ASQ Certification preferred
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a Quality Control Inspector in the medical device industry.
- Must have demonstrated ability to use Inspection equipment
- Must be able to read, analyze and interpret blueprints, GD&T, work instructions, engineering specifications and inspection documents
- Experience with writing non-conformance reports, able to perform detailed dimensional and cosmetic inspection on products
- Ability to use standard computer software i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook
- Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently.
