Due to growth in the markets, a boutique global Investment Bank are hiring for a Risk (Market and/or Credit) Application Support Analysts to join their Front Office Trading environment.Working with Front Office, Operations, Finance and Risk departments you will be working in a real time, fast paced environment providing Application and Business Support across the Risk Systems on a global scale. The systems support analyst will face off and work with Business and Technical teams in order to support and improve the frameworks and processes around Risk Systems.
Ideal Skills / Experience:
* Strong Track record supporting Applications and associated Risk systems
*Banking or Financial Services experience (Market or Credit Risk knowledge)
*Ideally degree level educated but not essential
*Very strong interpersonal skills
* Tech savvy with interest in how Technology and Business interacts in an Investment Banking environment.
For a candidate who has good business knowledge or good technical knowledge but wants to develop a more rounded skill set this role is ideal as if someone has good experience and exposure on the Market/Credit Risk side and wants to develop their technical skill set this is something they would be happy to facilitate.
While technical and business knowledge is important, equally as important is someone who is highly personable and builds good relationships as this Investment Bank, unlike many others is a more relaxed and sociable environment which focuses more on delivery than being extremely rigid and unsociable
