An opportunity has arisen with one of our major public sector clients for an Online Communications Officer on an initial 3 month contract.

The Online Communications Officer will be responsible for ensuring that the client's Extranet continues to be an excellent internal communications channel. The role will include maintaining Extranet content and ensuring that it is fit for purpose as a knowledge sharing tool; running employee and leadership engagement activities including an annual leadership conference; and the production of a wide range of communication channels including a weekly e-bulletin and a quarterly hard copy magazine.

To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate experience in the following:

  • Experience of working in an Internal/Corporate Communications environment
  • Producing and editing content suitable for reading online
  • Good HTML skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • Good team-working abilities
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Good organisational skills
  • Experience of delivering training/presentations (preferable)
  • Experience of using SharePoint 2007, 2010 or 2013 (preferable)
  • Experience of using additional web applications eg Photoshop, Acrobat(preferable)
